The Bothy
The Bothy is a one bedroom romantic retreat surrounded by spectacular Northumberland scenery. It’s a unique bolthole in a dramatic and remote setting.
From past experience a ‘Bothy’ is no more than a stone tent offering very basic accommodation. This bothy, however is something else! It’s an upmarket sanctuary in an elevated position with stunning views across the local countryside.

The Bothy is laid out all on one level with full height ceiling and exposed beams.
You enter into the porch with its utility room housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and separate WC.
The large bedroom is furnished with a Super King bed which can also be made up as a twin with an en-suite shower room.
The lounge has an electric fire and flat-screen TV. The gorgeous kitchen has everything you will need, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer with views stretching over the Northumbrian countryside.
There is a garden with a private patio, BBQ, and seating area, looking out across the valley.

Location
The Bothy is located in the heart of the Tyne Valley, a true unspoilt gem and gateway to the idyllic market towns of Hexham and Corbridge. Situated on the doorstep of the stunning Northumberland National park and the iconic Northumberland coastline and just a stone’s throw from the historic Roman Wall.
You can walk off-road to the nearest town, Hexham, three miles, which has good independent shops, a train station and a rather fine Abbey. The Bothy provides the perfect escape for those looking to explore the delights of rural Northumberland and beyond.
